Marissa's Marlsgate Bridal Session

Hey everybody!

Style pours out of Marissa. So when she said she wanted something "different" for her bridal session, we knew she meant it!

Because her wedding was at Marlsgate she thought it was a perfect place for her bridal portraits. Let me just say this about that (a phrase lovingly stole from my Mother-in-Law)... I've seen many bridal shoots at Marlsgate, and many of them are NOT "different." I would call most of them, the "same." :)

But not here, folks! I was on a creative high, striving to shoot images like no other. :) With Marissa's gorgeous Monique Lhuillier dress and a pair of Manolo's on her feet (Hello, Lover!), my creative juices kicked in to high gear.

So let's go!!
Our special little light formula worked like a charm here...

There's something about this one that I keep coming back to, and has now become my favorite image of the session. The amazing lighting? The sexy shoes? I die.

Marissa had this shot displayed to greet her guests as they arrived at the reception.

The lighting and expression here make this sublime! Marissa is the best!

I wanted to capture a cool shot of the back of her dress - equally as fabulous as the front, yes?!

Aren't these the most fab bridal portraits?!! Way to go Marissa and team!
