This morning was bittersweet. Summer was officially over, but Ellie got to head back to school with the friends, most of which she hadn't seen since the tornado destroyed her school. There were nerves (she couldn't even eat breakfast), but there were smiles.
We started early so we could shoot a few shots outside in the pretty sunrise light...
This year it was a bit different, with camera crews out front. We were interviewed on our way into the building... 2nd nature for Ellie.
Oh, by the way, this year she's decided to go by Ellie at school. Yeah... hold on to that youth as long as you can little one.
