Benny Brides Tell All: Christy!

Those of you who know me, know I kinda have a thing for shoes. So, of course, they were an important detail to me on my wedding day. Kurt is a very laid back guy and I knew he would hate formal shoes, so we decided to go with Converse for the guys. I had been dying for a pair of Christian Louboutins, so what better day to wear them than my wedding day! But I figured there would be no way I could last all night in them so I also got some yellow converse. I'm telling you all this as the backstory of how my favorite image of the night (and possibly ever) came to be. Since I knew at some point I would be changing into the Converse, I wanted to do two mini portrait sessions, One right after the ceremony in my Loubs and the other we snuck out of the reception for a while in my Converse.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.benfieldphoto.com/11Blog/christy_kurt.jpg"><img alt="" border="0" src="http://www.benfieldphoto.com/11Blog/christy_kurt.jpg" style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 800px; height: 1200px;" /></a><br /><br />I love this image because it captures the day so perfectly. It is the perfect mix of the timeless portrait and the fun candid shot. It reminds me of the beautiful setting, how happy we are to be husband and wife, how much we love each other and how absolutely perfect the day was. I can't help but smile every time I look at this picture. It sums up the best day of my life! I still don't feel like I can thank Dale and Mere enough for their amazing talent and for pictures I will cherish for the rest of my life! <br /><br />~Christy

Missouri Outdoor Real Wedding of Christy and Kurt

Hey everybody!<br /><br />The outdoor wedding in Eldon Missouri (near Jefferson City) had breathtaking views and took place on one of the most amazing properties Meredith and I have ever photographed.
