Hey everybody! Mere and I made the short jaunt to Tulsa recently to photograph fellow foodies, Melissa and Ben. I love shoots where we spend the entire time talking, and since we all share a love of yummy food, we had plenty to discuss. The day was chilly and windy, but we fought back and defeated the elements with some beautiful shots. I love photographing engagements in Tulsa - so many great places to shoot! Tulsa Wedding Story of Stephanie and Joshua

Hey everybody! Stephanie and Josh had a really sweet wedding. In addition to the very personal and heart warming details I talked about yesterday, they had a very heartfelt ceremony and reception. Josh is the kind of guy you hope for your daughter to marry. He is personable and polite and he is so involved (already) with Stephanie's family. Stephanie is super creative and probably the sweetest person I know (no, seriously!). She cried during the ceremony (you'll see below), and he was so nervous leading up to the first meeting. Then, during the reception, it was party time and everybody was dancing it up. Tulsa Vintage DIY Wedding Details for Stephanie and Josh

Hey everybody, Stephanie and Josh lived miles apart while they were dating; she was in Oklahoma, he was in New York. Because the distance didn't allow them to go on many in-person dates, they decided to read books together and discuss them on the phone! Isn't that such a sweet idea?? Soooo, when Stephanie began working on their wedding details she decided to pay homage to their book-reading courtship! Cute, right? I know! Notice the leaves in Josh's boutonniere and Stephanie's bouquet are made from pages of the first book they read.
